Color Blindness Test | SLMC

OVERVIEW

A Color Blindness Test is a quick, non-invasive screening that checks how well you distinguish colors. It detects common color vision deficiencies and helps guide school, work, and medical decisions. The test is fast, safe, and easy for both children and adults.

1. Service includes standardized color vision screening using approved test plates or digital tools. 2. Results indicate screening status and may require full eye examination for confirmation. 3. Professional interpretation by the ophthalmologist is required. 4. Fees may vary when bundled with other diagnostic services. 5. Accuracy depends on lighting conditions and patient responses. 6. Test does not treat color vision deficiency. 7. Certification forms are separate when specifically required.

B-Scan Ocular Ultrasound | SLMC – One Eye

OVERVIEW

B-scan ocular ultrasound is a fast, safe imaging test that shows the inside of the eye using sound waves. It is especially useful when cataract, bleeding, or opacity blocks the retinal view. The scan helps detect retinal detachment, hemorrhage, or masses and guides treatment decisions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS, INCLUSIONS, AND EXCLUSIONS

1. Service includes diagnostic ocular ultrasound imaging and physician review. 2. This test supports diagnosis but does not replace full clinical examination. 3. Fees may vary based on complexity and combined diagnostics. 4. Image quality depends on patient cooperation and positioning. 5. Additional tests may be required for confirmation. 6. Therapeutic treatment is not included. 7. Testing may be deferred in certain open-globe injuries.
