OVERVIEW
Meibomian gland duct probing is a targeted eyelid procedure that opens blocked oil gland ducts to improve tear stability and dry eye symptoms. It helps selected patients with obstructive gland disease who do not respond well to routine treatments and supports better tear film function.TERMS AND CONDITIONS, INCLUSIONS, AND EXCLUSIONS
1. Service includes clinical evaluation and selective duct probing of affected glands. 2. Treatment suitability depends on physician assessment and diagnosis. 3. Fees may vary based on number of lids and glands treated. 4. Procedure supports gland opening but does not guarantee symptom resolution. 5. Adjunct medicines or therapies may still be required. 6.
