OVERVIEW
B-Scan Ultrasound is a safe and non-invasive imaging test that uses sound waves to evaluate structures inside the eye when direct examination is limited. It helps detect retinal detachment, hemorrhage, and intraocular masses. The procedure is quick, painless, and supports accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS, INCLUSIONS, AND EXCLUSIONS
1. Service includes diagnostic B-Scan ultrasound imaging for one eye as clinically indicated.
2. The final net amount of the published price may be reduced after applicable discounts, such as Senior Citizen or PWD benefits.
3. If the procedure is performed under special conditions requiring anesthesia, additional fees may apply.
4. Final interpretation requires clinical correlation and ophthalmologist evaluation. Results support diagnosis but do not replace a full eye examination.
5. When applicable, PhilHealth pre-approval is required. Insurance or HMO cases require an approved letter of authority or guarantee letter before the procedure.
6. Additional imaging, follow-up tests, or treatments may be required based on findings. Results vary depending on underlying condition.
