WHAT IS EVO ICL PHAKIC IOL SURGERY
EVO ICL phakic IOL surgery is an advanced vision correction procedure that implants a soft, biocompatible lens inside the eye to reduce or eliminate the need for glasses or contact lenses. Unlike laser vision correction, this procedure does not remove corneal tissue. Instead, the surgeon places the EVO Implantable Collamer Lens behind the iris and in front of the natural lens. As a result, the natural lens remains in place while vision improves.

This procedure often suits adults with moderate to very high nearsightedness, with or without astigmatism, especially when the cornea is too thin or unsuitable for LASIK or SMILE. It may also help patients with dry eyes because the corneal surface remains largely untouched. However, proper screening is required.
