WHAT IS EVO VISIAN ICL

EVO Visian ICL is a modern vision correction procedure that uses an implantable collamer lens placed inside the eye to reduce or eliminate the need for glasses or contact lenses. It is designed for adults with moderate to high nearsightedness, with or without astigmatism, and for patients who may not be suitable candidates for laser vision correction.

The lens is made of a soft, biocompatible material called collamer, which contains collagen and is well tolerated by the eye. The natural lens of the eye is not removed. Instead, the EVO Visian ICL is gently positioned behind the colored part of the eye and in front of the natural lens.

The EVO Visian ICL works by adding a precisely measured lens inside the eye to refocus light more accurately onto the retina. This improves clarity of vision without reshaping the cornea.
