DETAILS

ACTUAL CLINIC FACE-TO-FACE CONSULTATION

An actual clinic face-to-face consultation provides a complete, structured, and medically sound evaluation of your eyes and vision. During this visit, a licensed ophthalmologist personally examines you using standard clinical instruments and evidence-based examination methods. As a result, important eye conditions can be detected early, diagnoses can be confirmed, and the correct treatment or monitoring plan can be recommended. This service supports accurate medical decisions and safer long-term eye care.

WHAT THIS SERVICE INCLUDES

This in-clinic consultation follows a systematic medical workflow. First, your identity and records are verified. Next, your symptoms and risk factors are reviewed. Then, targeted eye tests are performed. Finally, the ophthalmologist explains the findings and discusses your options. Because each step is documented, your visit also supports prescription accuracy and medico-legal standards.

The consultation typically includes the following core components:

1. Personal data verification and secure medical record documentation.
2. Detailed clinical history taking and symptom review.
3. Vision testing and refraction assessment.
4. Slit lamp examination of the front parts of the eye.
5. Eye pressure measurement for glaucoma risk screening.
6. Dilated retinal examination when indicated.

PERSONAL INFORMATION AND MEDICAL RECORDS

Your demographic and clinical data are recorded in a secure electronic medical record system. Therefore, follow-up care, prescription updates, and treatment plans remain consistent and traceable. Proper documentation also reduces identification and charting errors while supporting continuity of care.

CLINICAL HISTORY AND MEDICATION REVIEW

The visit begins with a focused medical interview. The ophthalmologist reviews your eye concerns, past eye problems, surgeries, systemic diseases, allergies, and family history. In addition, all current medicines and supplements are checked because many of them affect eye health and test results. For this reason, bringing your medication list improves accuracy.

VISION TESTING AND REFRACTION

Your visual acuity is measured with and without correction. Then objective and subjective refraction are performed to determine your best lens power. When necessary, special drops are used to relax focusing muscles and reveal hidden refractive error. Consequently, glasses, contact lens, and surgical recommendations become more precise.

MICROSCOPIC EYE EXAMINATION

A slit lamp microscope is used to examine the eyelids, cornea, conjunctiva, lens, and other front eye structures. Through magnified viewing, early signs of infection, inflammation, cataract, and surface disease can be identified. Thus, small but clinically important findings are not missed.

INTRAOCULAR PRESSURE AND RETINAL CHECK

Standard tonometry techniques are used to measure eye pressure and screen for glaucoma risk. When necessary, dilating drops are applied to examine the retina and optic nerve in detail. As a result, retinal disease, macular problems, and optic nerve damage can be detected early. Temporary light sensitivity and near blur may occur after dilation; however, these effects usually resolve within hours.

WHO SHOULD BOOK THIS SERVICE

This service is ideal for patients with blurred vision, eye discomfort, diabetes, hypertension, a family history of eye disease, or those seeking surgical screening. Moreover, routine comprehensive eye checks remain one of the most effective ways to protect lifelong vision.
